Raj Nandamudi, Culinary Development Chef at Sunterra Market agrees and notes, “I like mine with a hefty side of mustard.” 

With four flavours to choose from ­– Sunterra Farms pork, ground beef, Moroccan lamb with feta, and chicken apple with provolone dolce – there’s something for the meat lover in us all. “We started making the pork rolls a year ago, and because of its popularity we added three more varieties for our customers to enjoy.” Raj’s favourite? The Sunterra Farms pork sausage roll. 

Wrapped up in a warm blanket of buttery croissant pastry dough, each bite offers a crisp, flakey outside and rich and tender inside. A 50/50 ratio of filling to dough creates the perfect combination of sweet and savoury. 

Other than the taste, what makes a sausage roll the perfect snack?  “It offers both carbs and protein and is very convenient to just eat on the go” notes Raj. Whether eaten for breakfast or in between meals, our sausage rolls satisfy and keep you full for hours. When dipped into mustard – we suggest Canada’s own Kozlik’s German mustard ­­­– the savoury spices, buttery dough and tangy kick create an explosion of flavour.
