Duties and Responsibilities:
Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes.Preparation of dough by mixing ingredients according to recipes.
Operate and maintain mixing equipment and machinery.
Monitor mixing times and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in the preparation and baking of products as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure smooth operations.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Use of baking equipment's and using a variety of kitchen tools.
Shape and round dough according to specific product requirements.
Ensure consistency in size and shape of dough pieces.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the production area.
Work in a from scratch high volume production department.
Ensure all standardized recipes are being followed without deviation.
Reporting any recipe errors or concerns immediately to department lead and Market Manager.
Ensure that quality of ingredients and final products and customer meet?Sunterra quality standards.?
Demonstrate growth in product knowledge, including awareness of product changes, promotions, and seasonal trends.
Follow and monitor sanitation checklists and log sheets.??
Maintaining a full, colorful and abundant showcase, with attention to product rotation signage.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred.Knowledge of dough handling and shaping techniques.
Ability to operate bakery equipment and tools.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle dough.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling practices, and food safety standards.
Ensuring precision in measuring ingredients and maintaining consistency in products.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
