When we launched our greenhouse in 2020, our priority was providing high-quality produce to Albertans, fresh from the vine. Today, that goal remains the same with one important addition — our jarred goods!  We’ve brought the freshness and flavour from our strawberries and tomatoes to a line of convenient, shelf-stable products you can enjoy on the daily. But before the fruits of our labour become a sweet jam, rich sauce or zesty salsa, they are first grown and picked in our state-of-the-art greenhouse in Acme, Alberta. Our dedicated team of growers maintains a carefully controlled microclimate to provide optimal light, humidity, temperature, and irrigation, allowing our strawberry and tomato plants to flourish:

LIGHTING
We harness Alberta’s abundant sunshine supplemented by energy-efficient LED and high-pressure sodium lighting to ensure maximum exposure. 

CO2
All CO2 produced is recirculated into the greenhouse to enhance plant growth, rather than being released into the atmosphere. 

WATER
Excess water in the greenhouse is recycled, UV-treated, and reused. We also collect condensation, rain, and snow from our roof.

With all these efforts in place to produce the best fruit, it would only be right to pick them at their prime. Unlike imported fruit that’s picked early to withstand long journeys, our produce is hand-picked when fully ripened on the plant. Allowing the plants to grow to their full ripeness ensures the best flavour and most favourable texture is achieved for each and every fruit. With a priority on quality over quantity, our strawberry and tomato varieties are fresher and more nutrient-rich than most you’ll find in North America.
