Bon ap-pâté

Valbella PateEntertaining season has arrived, and we don't think any spread is complete without Valbella gourmet pâtés. The von Rotz family has been making quality European-style meats in Canmore since they first set up shop in the '70s, so you can expect the tastiest pâté this side of France.

Valbella makes each pâté (with the exception of duck liver) with a base of Sunterra Farms pork. Then they carefully create each flavour using Canadian grown beef, lamb, poultry or game and ingredients like red wine, vanilla or herbs. Once mixed, the pâtés are fully cooked and cooled so you can just open the package and serve. Paired with a fresh baguette, gherkins and some red wine, we'd say you've got yourself quite the pâté.
