Our Community

SUNTERRA ROOTS PROGRAM

The stronger our roots, the higher we grow and the further we can reach. The Sunterra ROOTS program defines our behaviour and commitment to the community. We believe in reciprocity, opportunity, openness, trust and service.

Sunterra is partnered with community organizations that are an integral part of the ROOTS program. As an organization, we support our community partners through food donations, Fresh Rewards points donations, Team Member volunteering and programs such as Adopt-A-Family.

  • INN FROM THE COLD

    In Calgary we are partnered with Inn from the Cold, Calgary’s first emergency family shelter. The Inn is dedicated to providing emergency shelter, support and programs to homeless children, their families and others in need.

  • RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

    In Calgary and Edmonton we are partnered with Ronald McDonald House charities, providing a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment.
DONATION AND SPONSORSHIP
We are an active member in our community, and we give back to those in need in the areas of food and family; the very things that created Sunterra. We support non-profit organizations in the communities in which we operate and we support our customers and organizations with whom we share similar values. If your event or organization meets these criteria, please submit your request via email to the address below.

  • All requests must be submitted by email at least one month prior to the event deadline
  • Include full contact information including name, email, phone number, address and website
  • Include your organization’s charitable registration number
  • Include specifics such as date, location, attendees, communication opportunities, etc.
