Duties and Responsibilities:
• Portion and wrap meat and seafood products based on customer orders• Prepare different cuts of meat for the display cases
• Ensure accurate retail pricing and signage.
• Superior knowledge of primal cuts.
• Passion for fresh foods.
• Customer service orientated, and likes to create great experiences.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with preparing different cuts of different types of meat for retail• Math skills
• Familiar with digi scale operation considered an asset
• Customer Service experience required
• Food Safety Mini Course certification is preferred
• WHIMIS Certification is preferred
• Meat department in a retail setting experience OR
• Charcuterie/Meat Cutting Certification
