The Fresh Rewards program was created 20 years ago as a simple way of saying thank you for your loyalty. As a Fresh Rewards member you earn points for every dollar you spend on delicious food and can redeem those points for gift cards and Sunterra made favourites like cookies, freshly squeezed orange juice and Three-Course Feasts. And, it’s completely free to sign up!

Sounds pretty great, right? Just when you thought a loyalty program couldn’t get much better, we’re announcing new benefits for Fresh Rewards members. 

Wondering about that Sunterra Market annual birthday card for a free slice of cake and cup of coffee? Rest assured, it’s still part of the new and improved Fresh Rewards program! Of course Fresh Rewards members will still receive the Birthday Reward! “We enjoy sending the birthday cards out almost as much as people enjoy receiving them. I love that our customers can celebrate their birthdays and create annual traditions with us. Seeing our team members wish them a happy birthday in person is so fun to witness. It also means a lot to us when a member shares a photo of their experience on social media, so we can celebrate virtually.” Added bonus: the new Fresh Rewards program gives members the option to receive a mailed physical birthday card or to receive it digitally.

Wondering what happens to all the points you’ve already collected?

“Don’t worry!,” says Joanna, “We’ve maintained the aspects of the Fresh Rewards program you know and love, but made them even better.” If you are already part of the Fresh Rewards program your points balance will be automatically carried over. But now every 1,000 points you earn, you will automatically qualify for a free Bonus Reward, which can be redeemed on your next purchase at your favourite market or on your next online order. And, with the new Fresh Rewards program you can earn Double Points on delicious Sunterra made items too!

But that’s not all — we want to reward you even more for your loyalty! If you have earned 4,000 or more points within the past 365 days, you will automatically become a Connoisseur and begin earning 10% more points per dollar spent. If you have earned 1 to 3,999 points within the past 365 consecutive days, you are a Foodie and will continue to earn one point per dollar spent. Foodies can of course continue to earn points to become a Connoisseur.

Trying to decide how to use all those points you’re earning? Fresh Rewards members can continue to Pay with Points at checkout for your favourite Sunterra made products like grab ‘n’ go pizzas, yogurt cups and fresh fruit pies! You can also convert your points to dollars for gift cards faster than ever, redeem them for cooking classes and catered dinners or donate them to our community partners.

On top of all these great benefits, we are also introducing a new Fresh Rewards app. Members will be able to view their Fresh Rewards status in real time, scan and pay on the go right from their phones, access exclusive offers available only in the app and so much more! The Fresh Rewards app will be available to download on Google Play and in the App Store this spring.
